YouTube Shorts had a problem. Most of their content was originally posted someplace else. But what if we made it a good thing that you’d seen YouTube Shorts’ videos before? We created an end-of-year campaign – 2022 in Short – that repositioned YouTube Shorts as the best place to re-watch the year’s most beloved short-form videos. As Creative Director, I managed a team spread from California to Brazil and oversaw every aspect of the campaign. We brought 8 of the year’s biggest content trends to life across OLV, social, OOH, and digital and blew brand lift metrics out of the water.
